Television Documentary: Casting Call

We received in inquiry recently from a company in England called WEE (wide Eyed Entertainment) and the folks there are looking for people to interview in a documentary about life after prison. We don’t deal with a lot of people who have spent any time in jail but it sounds like an interesting project nonetheless. If you think you might fit the bill feel free to get in touch with us at the National Pardon Centre by either emailing us directly or leaving a comment on this blog post. In the meantime here is a bit about the company and project in question.

“Wide-Eyed Entertainment (WEE) is a television production company creating factual TV at its very finest. WEE was founded by some of the most successful, well-regarded industry players who have a reputation for being trail-blazers in the factual genre with award-winning shows such as Walking with Dinosaurs, The Planets and In the Shadow of the Moon.

WEE are developing a new television series that will chart the progress of ex-offenders as they reintegrate back into society by starting new business ventures. WEE are keen to highlight instances where people have had success starting businesses/self-employment since being convicted to help inspire those just starting out. What challenges did you overcome? What advice would you pass on to others? What are you doing now?
