Pearson Airport Closed for US Waiver Submissions
Please be advised that the United States Customs and Border Protection Waiver Office is now closed until further notice and will no longer be accepting waiver applications, as per the notice on Toronto Pearson’s website:
https://www.torontopearson.com/PearsonContent.aspx?id=1198&terms=us+entry+waiver#
Following years of Saturday-only business hours, this office was briefly accepting applications on Tuesdays prior to closing completely for submissions as of July 16, 2018.
This has never been one of our recommended port of entries for the submission of applications, but as we recognize many individuals choose to file their waiver requests at this location we wanted to ensure that everyone was informed of this change. Should the office re-open, or more information become available, we will update this post.
Please note that you are still able to use granted US Entry Waivers at the Toronto Airport for flights to the United States.
Our recommendation for alternate border crossings where you can submit entry waiver applications are the Buffalo/Niagara Falls crossings: Peace Bridge, Rainbow Bridge, Queenston/Lewiston.
If you have any questions concerning US entry waivers please feel free to contact us directly.
