The head of the federal agency charged with protecting the nation's borders says agents turned away from the United States 116 people on the nation's terrorist watch list in the last three months of 2008. Acting Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection Jayson Ahearn wouldn't say if any of those cases came from Vermont's border with Canada, or even the northeast, nor would he say if any of the individuals were prosecuted on terrorism charges. Cost of a US Entry Waiver

There is finally some good news coming out of the pardon and waiver industry. For the past few months there have been worried that the cost of a waiver would be going up considerably. It has been set at $585 USD for several years now but there rumours circulating that it would be raised to over $900 USD.

We finally received confirmation that this will NOT be happening. So for the moment, the cost of processing a US entry waiver will remain the same.

Happy Holidays Everyone!
